Description
Could the expert settings for each page be extended with an option to "show page in sitemap". Here's the situation:
I've hidden certain pages from navigation so they wouldn't show up in the main navigation. I also created a sitemap with the options to show hidden files. This works great except, it also shows hidden reader pages and hidden jump to pages. When someone clicks on these in the site map they get to blank pages/thank you page text.
So, could we have the option to hide the page from the navigation but show it in the sitemap navigation? I'm not sure if there's a better solution.

Thanks Nina. I do not speak German so I missed this in the ticket system. I tried following the conversation through the translator but I'm afraid I'm unsure where this project stands. It looks like there has been a conversation back and forth about why this would be added and how it would function.
I think in my case, I've had to hide pages from the main navigation but I still want them to be added to the sitemap. So "show hidden files" needs to be applied. We then run into issues with hidden reader pages being shown in the site map. There's two solutions depending on what Leo thinks the best way to do it would be:
1. under site structure for each page: add another field called "hide from sitemap". So you could "hide from navigation" and also "hide from sitemap". This means each setting would perform a different function
OR
2. under site structure for each page: add a new field called "show in sitemap" so the option "hide from navigation" would hide it from all places unless "show from sitemap" was also checked. Then it would hide from all other navigation items but show in the sitemap.
